Mission Statement:
At the Foresthill Union School District Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), we believe in the power of collaboration and community. Our mission is to create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where parents and teachers come together to enrich the educational experience of our TK-8th grade students. We support innovative learning, exciting school events, and hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and growth. Aligned with the Foresthill Union School District's mission, we aim to help every student reach their full potential through outstanding instruction and meaningful experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.
About:
The PTO or Parent Teacher Organization gives parents and teachers the opportunity to work together to support and enrich the educational experience of all of our students. The PTO has planned many fun events this year, including the Back to School Night BBQ, Harvest Festival, Book Fair, Spring Carnival, Teacher Appreciation week and more. Our PTO invites parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators and community members to participate because it takes many amazing partners to make all of these events happen and we are grateful for every contribution!

We are so excited to announce the FDS Harvest festival! It is an opportunity for people to get together to celebrate the changing of the seasons, while also taking part in games and enjoying good food. This is such a highlighted event for our students and families. Not only is it a great time filled with laughter, fun, and celebration but a time for us to gather as a community and show up for our school! We look forward to seeing you all there.
